Variation to electricity generation licence application – Astronergy Solar Australia Pty Ltd - Archived

The Commission has received an application from Astronergy Solar Australia Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence variation in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act). The applicant is seeking to operate the following:

  •  solar photovoltaic generating plant (5280 PV modules- Astronergy CHSM6612M and 33 inverters- Solis 60K ) with a total export capacity of 1.58MW located at Lot 24 Caroona Road, Port Augusta West
  • solar photovoltaic generating plant (15840 PV modules- Astronergy CHSM72M-HC and 99 inverters- Solis 50K) with a total export capacity of 4.95MW located at 149 Agery Road, Kadina
  • solar photovoltaic generating plant (15840 PV modules- Astronergy CHSM72M-HC and 99 inverters- Solis 50K)  with a total   export capacity of 4.95MW located at Sections 446 & 447, 1074 Copper Coast Highway, South Hummocks, and
  • solar photovoltaic generating plant (15840 PV modules- Astronergy CHSM72M-HC and 99 inverters- Solis 50K) with a total export capacity of 4.95MW located at A20, 1074 Copper Coast Highway, South Hummocks.


The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 15 September 2020. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
