Approval granted for electricity generation licence variation application – Cowell Electric Supply Pty Ltd - Archived

The Commission varied the electricity generation licence to Cowell Electric Supply Pty Ltd, authorising changes to the size and type of generating plant authorised under its licence at:

• Glendambo
• Kingoonya
• Mannahill
• Marla
• Oak Valley
• Oodnadatta
• Parachilna, and
• Maree.

The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
