Salary range: $65,606 – $92,614 ASO3 – ASO5

We currently have two vacancies within our Regulatory Data and Analysis group and so we are seeking applications from experienced data/information analysts looking to join our team.

The Commission is an independent statutory authority that regulates the provision of essential services in the water and sewerage, electricity, gas, ports and rail industries.  Our primary objective is to protect the long-term interests of South Australian consumers with respect to the price, quality and reliability of essential services.

Data Analyst 
  • To contribute to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the Commission’s RI System by collating, assessing, analysing, structuring and visualising data 
  • Ensuring the quality and robustness of information sources and datasets through data verification and validation and contributing to a set of data management updating procedures and processes.
Senior Information Analyst
  • Leading sub-projects for the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the Commission’s Regulatory Information System.
  • Providing technical expertise in data analysis and the reporting of statistical information through the use of best practice methodologies and industry recognised standards and processes.
