Water retail licence variation approved – District Council of Mt Remarkable - Archived
20 Oct 2016
On 24 June 2016, the District Council of Mount Remarkable applied to the Commission for a variation to its water retail licence. The District Council of Mount Remarkable applied to add to its licence the provision of sewerage services to residential and non-residential customers in the township of Wirrabara.
The Commission has assessed the application against the relevant provisions of the Water Industry Act 2012 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 (as they apply to the Commission's role as an economic regulator of the South Australian water and sewerage service industries) and determined that all relevant criteria have been satisfied.
The varied water retail licence was issued to the District Council of Mount Remarkable on 28 September 2016.
