Overview
The Commission will release a Strategic Directions Consultation Paper seeking
public comment on its proposed regulatory approach and key focus areas for 2016
– 2019. To assist stakeholders in providing comment, the Commission will be
holding public forums across the State.
Following these public forums, the Commission will also be holding refresher
information sessions for water industry retailers. These sessions are intended
to provide further assistance regarding annual regulatory reporting
requirements.

The Commission has released a Strategic Directions Consultation Paper seeking
public comment on its proposed regulatory approach and key focus areas for 2016
– 2019. The feedback received will inform the development of the Commission’s
Strategic Plan for that period.
The Commission welcomes comments on:
- its regulatory approach
- its existing work program as outlined in this paper
- any matters relating to specific projects
- how its engagement with the community could be improved, or
- any other issues or areas of work not outlined in this paper that the
Commission should consider in setting its priorities over the planning period.
Written submissions on the strategic directions consultation paper close at
5pm on Friday 2 October 2015.
To assist stakeholders in providing comments, the Commission will hold public
forums across the State.

Town Hall, 20 August 2015
- Port Lincoln Yacht Club, 21 August 2015
The Strategic Directions Public forum and Water
Industry Regulatory Reporting Session for Port Lincoln have been cancelled for
Friday 21 August. The Commission apologises for any inconvenience. If you would

note, the Strategic Directions Consultation Paper remains open for written
submissions until 5pm on Friday 2 October 2015.
