Conclusion of Dr Patrick Walsh’s appointment as Commissioner and Chairperson - Archived

Dr Patrick Walsh’s second five-year term of appointment as a Commissioner and Chairperson of the Essential Services Commission concluded on 16 February 2016.

Dr Walsh worked for the Commission and its predecessor from 1999 until 2016, in a range of senior roles including Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson. Through all of those roles Dr Walsh made a tremendous contribution to the Commission, its culture and its work. Staff and Commissioners thank Dr Walsh for his efforts and wish him all the very best for the future.

Dr Lynne Williams will be the Commission’s Acting Chairperson until further notice.
