Consumer Advisory Committee

The Commission has established a Consumer Advisory Committee comprising representatives of water, sewerage, electricity and gas consumers.  The Consumer Advisory Committee provides advice to the Commission in relation to its water, sewerage, electricity and gas licensing functions, and provides advice on other matters relating to those industries to the extent that such issues and functions impact on consumers.

Membership of the Consumer Advisory Committee is drawn from peak bodies representing a wide range of interests including disadvantaged consumers, rural and remote consumers, environmental interest groups and industry and business generally.
