Draft Decision
As the transition to a national energy framework is now complete, the Commission is now conducting a thorough review of regulatory instruments made by the Commission. The focus of the review is to ensure obligations remain appropriate and to confirm consistency across documents.
The Commission will release its draft decision in May 2013, with the final instruments, to apply from 1 July 2013.

Final Price Determination
The Commission will release its Final Revenue Determination for SA Water, setting the final maximum allowed revenues for drinking water and sewerage retail services for the three year period from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2016. The release of the Draft Determination in February, outlined a 5.4% reduction in SA Water’s real average drinking water revenue and an increase of 1.7% in real average sewerage revenue to apply from 1 July 2013.

Final Price Determination
The Commission will release its Final Price Determination for 2013 Solar Feed-in Tariff Premium to apply from 1 July 2013 to 31 December 2016. The release of the Draft Determination in March, outlined Commission’s draft decision to set the feed-in tariff premium at 9.8 cents per kWh from 1 July 2013 to 31 December 2013, revised from the previously determined 11.2 cents per kWh. Under the Commission’s proposed draft determination, the FiT premium will be reset on 1 January for each of the following 3 years (until 31 December 2016) using a set methodology.
